Comic + Storyteller

Originally from Mississippi, Ash grew up as a critter-obsessed barefoot tomboy running through the woods. Her comedy and immersive storytelling are rooted in the red clay hills, kudzu-lined highways, and squirrel-infested thickets that she called home. Ash’s work is both tender and feral, blending sharp comedy with emotional honesty.

Whether she’s recounting run-ins with the animals around her, navigating family legends tall enough to shade the county, or digging into the tender, complicated truths of growing up queer in the Deep South, Ash brings audiences into a world that is as heartfelt as it is hilarious.

Ash is a multiple Moth StorySLAM winner and 2025 Best of Portland Comedy finalist, known for her tall-yet-true stories shared on stages across the country. She’s performed at festivals including Pickathon and Hell Yes Fest, bringing humor, heart, and a sharp eye for the absurd to every story.

She hosts Porch Hang, a weekly storytelling radio show with a killer soundtrack, and cohosts Know Homo and ROY G BIV, highlighting the best queer comedy Portland—and beyond—has to offer.
